Are you ready to escape the rat race and hide-out in the hills of Tolmie like the bushrangers that used to call the forests up here home? In fact this property is not far from the Kelly Tree at Stringbark Creek. The Tolmie Tavern is much closer, very convenient if you like a nice cold beer and a chat with locals. If you are after something a bit fancier, there are some very nice wineries just over the hill in the King Valley. You can stop off at Power's Lookout to take in the amazing views all the way across to the Alpine Ranges with their peaks capped with snow in Winter.
Back home on 'the block', there's just under an acre on title, a shed with power connected and beautiful established trees providing shade and privacy. The zoning is Rural Living which allows you to build a dwelling without too much red tape, but you might just want to camp out among the trees for a while. The stars are amazing on a clear night, with no light pollution just lovely crisp High Country air. It's a little cooler up here in Tolmie and a whole lot more peaceful!
