Nestled in a peaceful, private and very beautiful setting, this lovely home was the original 'Mill House'. Not sure the old loggers would recognise it now though, as the current owner has completed a thorough refurbishment. Whilst retaining the old world charm, they have created a very comfortable 4 bedroom home with large light filled rooms and some modern luxuries as well as necessities like new insulation and a new reverse cycle split system.
The home is indeed lovely, but the stars of the show here are outside. The magnificent trees include a huge oak tree that shades the gorgeous stone grotto and the beautiful lawns are perfect for family picnics. Children could even pitch a tent for an adventure in the safety of their own home.
There's great walking tracks here too, so you can stroll into 'town', down to the Jamieson and Goulburn Rivers or just a little further to the popular Jamieson Brewery. We would recommend bringing a couple of their refreshing Raspberry Ales home to enjoy on the covered deck while you listen to the native birds and keep an eye out for the visiting deer.
There's a shipping container and carport for your vehicles and other equipment and plenty of level ground if you did want to build a big shed in the future.
