Beautiful views and paddocks for your ponies, plus a very comfortable modern home and a big shed...and you can walk home from the pub! What more can you ask for?
The lovely Jamieson Primary School is also within easy walking distance and the Mansfield School bus stop is even closer. There's an awesome swimming hole nearby on the river to cool off on hot days. What a great place for kids to grow up...with more time outside and a lot less screen time inside!
The house was built in 2009, as a modern version of the quintessential Australian homestead with colourbond cladding and a lovely wide return verandah. You can watch the sunset behind the forest covered hills from the verandah or inside the big open plan living area. It's so quiet and peaceful here and views are truly beautiful in all seasons. You might even see a dusting of snow on the mountain peaks in winter, but don't worry you will be toasty warm inside your home with a very effective wood fire. There's also a reverse split system for instant heating and cooling and a 6.6kW solar system to keep the power bills to a minimum. On the topic of power the 18m x 7.6m shed features a couple of 15 amp outlets in addition to a host of 10 amp outlets. The double wide span sliding doors allow you to take full advantage of the 3.4m height of the shed.
There is a long list of features and more photos that we can supply, and you can take a virtual tour of the house but you really need to visit in person to appreciate this magical location.
